About

I read a lot. Reading has been my favorite hobby since I was six and discovered Amelia Bedelia. A few years later, I was all about The Babysitter’s Club before graduating for young adult, and then Stephen King. I even went to college for a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and English, which contrary to its title, involved more literary criticism than sentence structure.

These days, I prefer nonfiction. Bring on the books about history, true crime, environmental disasters, and just about anything else that I find interesting. Memoirs? Yes, please. If you do find me reading fiction, it’s going to be thriller, mystery, detective story, or something with a very unreliable narrator (although the occasional other book does cross my path and end up in my “to be read” queue.

Why Start a Book Blog?
